Alternative Spring Break Trip to New Orleans Invites Alumni Participation
In April, UDSL students had an opportunity to take their classroom knowledge on the road for some hands-on experience that made a big impact. In lieu of going to Florida or Cancun during their Spring Break, 30 UDSL students went to New Orleans on an ‘Alternative Spring Break’ trip to complete pro bono work and help rebuild the areas damaged by Hurricane Katrina. Student organizers are planning on an even larger group traveling to New Orleans this year, and would like to open up the trip to alumni. The trip will take place the week of March 16 – March 21.
