Thomas P. Whelley II is a lawyer at Chernesky, Heyman & Kress P.L.L., where he specializes in complex business litigation cases and employment law.
After graduating from the University of Dayton School of Law, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review, Mr. Whelley joined Smith & Schnacke in Dayton. Twelve years later, in 1989, he became a partner in Thompson, Hine & Flory. He joined Chernesky, Heyman & Kress P.L.L. in 1992 as head of the firm’s litigation group.
Mr. Whelley is a Master of the Carl D. Kessler Inn of Court and a member of the Ohio Civil Trial Lawyers Association. He is president of the School of Law Advisory Council, and has been president of the Legal Aid Society of Dayton and a co-chairman of the Montgomery County Bench Bar Conference.
