In order to make an informed decision about attending law school, we strongly encourage prospective law students to visit our wonderful facility and meet our admissions staff, faculty and students. In planning your visit, see our hotel and campus location/directions information.

 

Parking on Campus: For Law Days, we will confirm parking instructions one week prior to the event. For individual visits and information sessions, you must stop at the Visitor's Booth, explain you are visiting the School of Law, and obtain a temporary parking permit.

This program is designed to introduce you to UDSL and give you a very brief introduction to the LSAT. We will discuss our summer and fall start as well as our accelerated  and traditional programs.  Other highlights include the admissions and  financial aid process, a mock law class, an alumni and student panel, and a tour of our beautiful facility.   Registration begins at 8:45 a.m., with the program running from 9 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. A continental breakfast will be served. DIVERSE STUDENT LAW DAY

This program is designed to introduce prospective law students of diverse backgrounds to UDSL. We will address the needs and concerns that may be unique to students. Please RSVP online for the Diverse Student Law Day or contact us by phone at 937-229-3555 for more information.

INFORMATION SESSIONS

Offered most Mondays and Fridays, these sessions provide an introduction to UDSL, including a discussion about admissions procedures and financial aid, a tour of the facility, and the opportunity to sit in on a law class. Please meet in the School of Law Office of Admissions and Financial Aid, 112 Keller Hall.  RSVP online for one of these sessions.

Note: Information Sessions for November 23, 2009, and the month of December 2009 will be information sessions only and a tour of our beautiful facility. No classroom sessions will be offered.

Mondays

10 to 10:30 a.m.: Information Session (Andes Conference Room)

10:30 to 11:20 a.m.: Professor  Perna's Legislation class (Room 115)

11:20 a.m. to noon: Tour of Keller Hall

Fridays
10 to 10:30 a.m.: Information Session (Andes Conference Room)
10:30 to 11:20 a.m.: Professor  Shaw's Criminal Law class (Room 115)
11:20 a.m. to noon: Tour of Keller Hall

 

EVENING INFORMATION SESSIONS

Wednesday's Evening Information Sessions will be information sessions only and a tour of Keller Hall. 

No classroom sessions. 5:30 to 7 p.m.

If you cannot attend one of the above programs, we would be more than happy to schedule an individual visit so you can find out more about the University of Dayton School of Law. Contact the Office of Admissions at 937-229-3555.

AT A LOCATION NEAR YOU
Of course, if you cannot attend one of these programs, we may be at a location near your residence or college campus. Please check our recruiting calendar to see where we will be this fall. The largest of these events are the Law School Forums, sponsored by the Law School Admission Council. These forums are free to prospective students and are held each year in eight metropolitan areas across the country. We encourage you to attend a forum or any of these events, as they provide invaluable information about law school.
