Tuition Expenses

Breaking Down the Bill

The University of Dayton School of Law charges tuition per credit hour rather than per academic year. The cost per credit hour for the 2009-10 academic year is $980.  Below are student budgets, including tuition and living expenses, for the entering classes of Summer and Fall 2009.

Student Budget for Summer 2009

   Tuition (based on 18 semester hours) $17,640

Student Budget for Fall 2009 and Winter 2010

   Tuition (based on 33 semester hours)  $32,340

  TOTAL $47,184

*This tuition will increase to $35,280 for students who choose to take Criminal Procedure in their second  semester as part of the accelerated option.
