Students Entering in Fall 2010

Starting January 2010: File your 2010-2011 FAFSA as soon as possible (preferably before May 1). More information online

January 30, 2010: Attend an Admitted Student Law Day. RSVP online.

March 27, 2010: Attend an Admitted Student Law Day. RSVP online.

April 15, 2010: The first non-refundable seat deposit of $250 is due to hold your place in the entering class. For students admitted after April 15, the first seat deposit due date is indicated in the letter of admission. You may pay by credit card or check.

June 15, 2010 - August 3, 2010: Receive your LDAP (University Password) from the School of Law Computer Manager if you have sent in your first seat deposit. This will grant you access to all online university systems, including your email account.

June 15, 2010 - July 31, 2010: Send in your digital photo for your UD Flyer Card (university ID) to lawannouncements@notes.udayton.edu. You may also purchase a locker and pay your seat deposits online.

June 15, 2010: The second non-refundable seat deposit of $350 is due to hold your place in the entering class. For students admitted after May 15, the second seat deposit due date is indicated in the letter of admission.  You may pay by credit card or check.

June 17, 2010: Attend an Admitted Student Law Day. RSVP online.

June-July, 2010: Parking Services will send out an email giving you a specific time period in which to purchase a parking permit.  CHECK YOUR LOTUS EMAIL ACCOUNT DAILY FOR THIS ANNOUNCEMENT.July 1-9, 2010: Registration information including fall semester schedules and the textbook ordering process will be mailed. You must sign and return your registration confirmation to finalize your enrollment. You will also receive payment and billing information in the mail from the University Bursar.

July 8-August 17, 2010: Bring your computer to Room 212S in the Keller Hall Zimmerman Library from 8:30-4:30 pm for computer inspection. Note: first come first served after August 15th.

July 14, 2010: Deadline for the receipt of your registration confirmation.

July 21, 2010 (tentative): “Introduction to the Study of Law” and other orientation materials will be mailed and available for viewing online. Other online orientation requirements (such as computer training) must be completed prior to August 19.

July 31, 2010: Deadline for emailing your digital photo for your UD Flyer Card (university ID), sending in your completed Immunization Form and having your undergraduate degree-granting institution send us your official degree transcript.

August 16 & 17, 2010: Walk-in Registration from 9 am - 3 pm.  You may pick up registration materials, your ID card, locker key and mailbox key in Keller Hall. Make sure to complete TWEN course Technology Orientation Fall 2010.

August 18, 19, 20, 2010: Introduction to Legal Studies (required)

August 25, 2010: First day of classes for fall-start students.
