Hello, my name is Robert Christopher Lewis. I am 23 years old, I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. I attended Lakota West High School and subsequently Miami University in Oxford, where I graduated in the class of 2008 with a degree in history. I am currently a second year law student at the University of Dayton School of Law and the incoming vice president of the Black Law Student Association. I participated in AEP last year as an incoming 1L and as a TA I hope to pass on some of the great things I learned to the incoming students and really be a resource for them this year.
Some other important things to know about me are that I am very family oriented, my family and I are extremely close and we always have been. I feel like I was raised in an environment full of positivity and emphasis on education, which made me the young man I am today. I enjoy watching and playing basketball, sneakers (maybe a little too much), jazz music and learning in a general sense (this list is definitely not exhaustive but it is an accurate snapshot of my interests). I am also a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc., currently active in the Dayton Alumni Chapter. This past summer I was fortunate enough to intern with the New York State Office of the Attorney General and I gained some wonderful experience during my time there.
Finally, I believe every day is an opportunity to improve your understanding of the world and expand your knowledge. I want all the incoming 1Ls to know that I encourage them to come talk to me about anything and I will do my best to help or just listen.
