The University of Dayton School of Law and the Dayton Bar Association will host a welcome reception for Carter Stewart, the new U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Ohio, on Monday, November 9, 5:30 p.m., at Dayton Bar Association, 109 N. Main Street, Suite #600, in Dayton.
Stewart was confirmed as U.S. Attorney by the U.S. Senate on September 15 and was sworn in on September 30. Prior to his appointment, Stewart worked in the Columbus office of Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP, where he focused on the areas of criminal defense, commercial litigation, antitrust, and education law. He previously served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the San Jose Division of the Northern District of California.
