As the Reference Librarian at the Zimmerman Law Library, Maureen Anderson provides legal research and reference services for School of Law students and faculty as well as other library patrons. She also provides instruction in the use of legal resources and legal research methodology, and assists the Head of Public Services in creating effective reference and public services policies and publications, including for the law library website.

Ms. Anderson holds a Master’s degree in Library Sciences from Kent State University and received her legal education at Pace University School of Law and The Thomas M. Cooley Law School. She came to the University of Dayton School of Law in January of 2004 and enjoys assisting the students, faculty, and the public patrons with their research needs. She was previously a legal editor for LexisNexis.

While not at work, she enjoys spending time and playing with her two young children. She also enjoys watching movies and reading. Though she likes a wide range of genres, Ms. Anderson says mysteries are her favorite.
