The Parents and Family Association aims to bring together students who have family commitments, such as students with: children, spouses, significant others, nieces or nephews; or any other students who wish to support their classmates. We focus on the practical aspects of being a law student with familial responsibilities. The organization addresses issues such as housing, spousal relationships, child care, schools and other non-academic concerns.

Major 2007/2008 Initiatives: 
The Parents and Family Association is committed to helping students achieve balance between personal and professional life through programming and family-friendly events. We also will combine our membership strength with other service-oriented student organizations this year to assist in community service activities that have a family focus. PAFA is interested in taking whatever direction the membereship feels would be beneficial and plans to offer information, resources and opportunities for members within the UDSL community
