Program Maps

We have designed program maps, based on your track selection and the number of semesters you will study, to assist you in planning your courses. These maps designate which semester to take the core courses and track courses so you will meet all prerequisite requirements. Any deviation from the program map for the core or track required courses must be approved by the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs.
You have a wide variety of elective courses to choose from to supplement your required courses.

We’re here for you

Please contact Richard Perna, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, if you have any questions or need help selecting elective courses. Group counseling sessions are also held every semester.

Advocacy and Dispute Resolution Track
Personal and Transactional Law Track
Intellectual Property, Cyberlaw and Creativity

The courses you select are among the most important decisions you will make as a law student. Planning ahead is crucial.
Some state bar exams require you to have taken a set menu of courses. Please inquire about these requirements in advance.  Ohio’s bar website is an excellent resource for those who plan to take the bar exam in Ohio. For information about other state bar exams and links to their sites, BarBri is a good source of information.
