PSLawNet Instructions

PSLawNet is the job bank for public interest and government jobs.

To Create a PSLawNet Profile:

  1. Go to the UDSL website at http://law.udayton.edu
  2. Choose Current Students.
  3. Choose Career Services.
  4. Under Job listings choose PSLawNet.
  5. At PSLawNet home page choose Student/Alumni.
  6. Under Students/Alumni choose University of Dayton in drop down box.  
  7. Then click on “Register/Edit Profile”.  You will be taken to a screen which says “Add New Profile” and “Edit or Update your Existing Profile”.  Click on “Register” under “Add New Profile”.
  8. Select the category which accurately describes you – “JD Student” or Alumni”.
  9. You will then be taken to a screen which describes different type of profiles- for JD students you can choose between a Basic Profile and a Public Resume Bank Profile.  Alumni can additionally choose to register a Confidential Resume Bank Profile.  Please see www.PSLawNet.org for more details about the profile types.
  10. Complete profile and hit submit.

To Search for Jobs:

  1. Once you have completed your registration, you will be able to immediately search the website for employment opportunities.  If you have a problem gaining access, just wait a few minutes and then try again.
  2. Once logged onto the site, you can search by opportunity or by organization (U.S./non-U.S.).  You can limit your searches by practice area, geographic location, position type, etc.
