As a Reference Librarian at the Zimmerman Law Library, Paul Venard provides legal research and reference services for School of Law students and faculty as well as other library patrons. He also assists the Head of Public Services in creating effective reference publications, including for the law library website.
Professor Venard holds a Masters degree in Library and Information Sciences from Kent State University and received his legal education at the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. He came to the University of Dayton School of Law in June of 2007. He previously practiced law at a small law firm in Westlake, Ohio and had worked as a Reference Librarian and member of the Election Law @ Moritz project at the Moritz College of Law Library with the Ohio State University before coming to work at the Zimmerman Law Library.
While not at work, he enjoys spending time watching movies and reading books of all genres. He also enjoys watching and reading about Cleveland area sports teams.
