Summer 2010 Entering Class
Starting January 2010: File TWO FAFSAs (2009-2010 and 2010-2011). File the 2009-2010 FAFSA as soon as possible for Stafford Loan eligibility for Summer 2010. File your 2010-2011 FAFSA as well, so that your eligibility may be determined for Fall 2010 and Spring 2011. More information online.
January 30, 2010: Attend our Admitted Student Law Day. RSVP through our website.
February 2, 2010: The first non-refundable seat deposit of $250 is due to hold your place in the entering class. (For students admitted after February 2, the first seat deposit due date is indicated in the letter of admissions). You may pay by credit card or check.
March 15, 2010: The second non-refundable seat deposit of $350 is due to hold your place in the entering class. (For students admitted after March 15, the second seat deposit due date is indicated in the letter of admission). You may pay by credit card or check.
March 27, 2010: Attend our Admitted Student Law Day. RSVP through our website.
April 5, 2010: You will receive important information regarding registration, the textbook ordering process, billing and payment process, immunization, and the UD Flyer Card (university ID). You must sign and return your registration confirmation to finalize your enrollment. The School of Law must receive your registration confirmation by April 19, 2010.
April 15, 2010: Receive your LDAP (University Password) from the School of Law Computer Manager. This will grant you access to all online university systems, including your email account. You will also receive your password to The West Education Network (TWEN). Once you receive this password, you may begin the required online computer training. This training must be completed prior to registration.
After April 15, 2010: Introduction to Legal Studies & Professionalism (orientations) information will be mailed.
April 16, 2010: Send in your digital photo for your UD Flyer Card (university ID) to lawannouncements@notes.udayton.edu.
Starting April 19, 2010: Your computer may be brought to Keller Hall for an inspection. All computers must be inspected before receiving access to the School of Law network. This inspection must occur on or prior to May 1.
Beginning in May: Purchase a parking permit. Procedures will be forthcoming.
April 30, 2010 (Friday): Registration - You may pick up registration materials, your ID card, locker key and mailbox key at Keller Hall. Walk-in hours are 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
April 30, 2010 (Friday): Attend the Computer Training Session from 1-2 p.m. in the Zimmerman Law Library Computer Lab.
May 3-4-5, 2010 (Monday - Wednesday): Introduction to Legal Studies (required).
May 6, 2010 (Thursday): First day of class
