Summer 2008 Entering Class
Starting January 2008: File TWO FAFSAs (2007-2008 and 2008-2009). File the 2007-2008 FAFSA as soon as possible for Stafford Loan eligibility for Summer 2008. File your 2008-2009 FAFSA as well, so that your eligibility may be determined for Fall 2008 and Spring 2009. More information online.
January 26, 2008: Attend our Admitted Student Law Day. RSVP through our website.
February 1,2008: The first non-refundable seat deposit of $250 is due to hold your place in the entering class. (For students admitted after February 1, the first seat deposit due date is indicated in the letter of admissions). You may pay by credit card or check.
March 15, 2008: The second non-refundable seat deposit of $350 is due to hold your place in the enterering class. (For students admitted after March 15, the second seat deposit due date is indicated in the letter of admission). You may pay by credit card or check.
March 20,2008: You will receive important information regarding registration, the textbook ordering process, billing and payment process, immunization, and the UD Flyer Card (university ID). You must sign and return your registration confirmation to finalize your enrollment. The School of Law must receive your registration confirmation by April 4, 2008.
March 29, 2008: Attend our Admitted Student Law Day. RSVP through our website.
April 1, 2008: Receive your LDAP (University Password) from the School of Law Computer Manager. This will grant you access to all online university systems, including your email account. You will also receive your password to The West Education Network (TWEN). Once you receive this password, you may begin the required online computer training. This training must be completed prior to registration.
April 5-10, 2008 (tentative): "Introduction to the Study of Law" and other orientation materials will be mailed and available for viewing online.
Starting April 15, 2008: Your computer may be brought to Keller Hall for an inspection. All computers must be inspected before receiving access to the School of Law network. This inspection must occur on or prior to May 2.
Beginning in May: Purchase a parking permit. Procedures will be forthcoming.
May 2, 2008 (Friday): Registration - You may pick up registration materials, your ID card, locker key and mailbox key at Keller Hall. Walk-in hours are 9:00 am - 3:00 pm.
May 5-7, 2008 (Monday - Wednesday): Introduction to Legal Studies (required).
May 9, 2008 (Thursday): First day of class
