Transfer Applications (seeking admission to UDSL after the first year of law school at an ABA-accredited institution)
Transfer applicants must currently be registered with LSDAS and provide the following:
- an official undergraduate degree transcript directly from the undergraduate institution
- an official law school transcript
- a law faculty letter of recommendation
- a letter of good standing from the applicant's current ABA-approved law school
- first year course descriptions from the applicant's current ABA-approved law school
Visiting/Transient Applications (seeking to study at UDSL after two years of law school at an ABA-accredited institution)
Applicants applying as visiting or transient student must provide the following:
- a letter of permission and good standing from the applicant's current ABA-approved law school
- a completed UDSL application (no personal statement required)
- a statement outlining the reasons for visiting at UDSL
Applications for admission as a tranfers or visiting/transient student are normally considered for the fall semester only.
