The UDSL chapter of the ACLU hopes to foster the discussion and support of civil liberties in the local legal community, and to provide networking opportunities for those interested in pursuing a career in constitutional law. The focus of the UDSL ACLU will be supporting First Amendment freedoms and ensuring due process and equal protection under the law.

• Organize events featuring visiting speakers on the UDSL campus to discuss election issues, due process, privacy, equal protection and 1st Amendment issues
• Voter Registration event
• Fundraising event to benefit either the Ohio ACLU or a local nonprofit with a similar purpose
• Diversity Fest activities
