Interested in applying? Great! Here’s how:
Start Early: Try to plan as close to a year in advance as possible so that you can be sure to meet application and testing deadlines. You also want to give yourself plenty of time to plan for the major lifestyle adjustment that full-time law school requires (UDSL is full-time only).
August 1st: We begin accepting applications for the following academic year, both for the Summer and Fall Terms.
Prior to LSAT: Yes, you can apply to UDSL while you’re still waiting for your LSAT scores - or even before you’ve taken the LSAT - but applications will not be reviewed until all components (including scores) are received.
After we’ve received all required elements of your application, we will begin the review process.
Admissions Committee: This group is comprised of faculty, admissions staff, and current law students.
Factors Considered: Both the numerical predictors of undergraduate GPA and LSAT score, as well as the personal aspects of an applicant’s background are fully considered before a final decision is made.
Since UDSL follows a “rolling admissions” process (as files become complete, they are reviewed immediately), the Admissions Committee usually notifies an applicant of the decision within 2-6 weeks of file completion, beginning October 1.
